Brian Needs Your Help
As many of you know by now, I am facing federal charges after exercising my First Amendment rights by participating in a protest at the ICE detention facility in Broadview, challenging the Trump administration’s inhumane treatment of our immigration neighbors.
Like millions of Americans, I spoke up because remaining silent in the face of injustice is not an option. It appears the federal government targeted public officials like me to discourage me—and all of us—from speaking out against the actions of this administration that are separating families and creating fear in our communities.

I am fighting these unjust charges, but I cannot do it alone. I need your help: Please consider donating to support my legal defense.

Here in Oak Park and across the Chicago area, many families are afraid to go to church or school, and children worry their parents may not come home. Our children should not have to live in fear. They deserve better, and our Constitution demands better. That is why I protested in Broadview and why I continue to stand up for our neighbors.
I will continue to uphold my oath to support the Constitution. I will continue to speak out and to protect our immigrant neighbors. But this case is about more than me. It is about whether we allow fear to silence people who speak for justice.
Please consider standing with me. Together, we can show our neighbors, friends, and children that we have the courage to do what is right.
